I certainly hope so. I would hate to think that these guys might be stuck in a position where they might be forced to race. That would be awful for the sport.

It wouldn't be bad for the sport, dumbass. It could however lead to slow times and the reason we have these races is to get A standards, not to win.
We all know the Stanford Invite is not about racing. It's about hitting the regional or running a serious PR. I remember when they had rabbits in sections 1-3..that was freakin' perfect. So put a rabbit out there Stanford.
