Does anyone know if this weekend's World XC Championship will be webcast live on the internet? If yes, what is the URL?
Does anyone know if it was it webcast live last year?
FYI, The races start at 8:30am (Jr Women), 9:00am (Jr Men), 9:40am (Sr Women), and 10:30am (Sr Men). These times are Eastern Daylight Times for New York. Add 6 hours to get the time in Amman, Jordan.
On Friday, March 27, the clocks in Jordan are moved ahead one hour for Summertime Daylight Savings Time, making the difference between Jordan and EDT seven hours.
Universal Sports has it listed on their schedule, not sure if it will be shown live or not though.
I don't have to watch it online because i will be there!
My parents live in Amman so i am helping out as a volunteer.

The IAAF has an article on their website regarding how they are going to restructure T&F meets to make them more TV friendly.
Yet they won't even webcast one of their premiere events, the World XC Championship. They have exclusive broadcast rights to this Championship. The IAAF could have easily webcast this championship on their own website, but apparently that requires more effort than they want to be bothered with.
This makes one wonder if the IAAF is staffed only with bureaucrats, lawyers and drug testers, none of whom are fans of the sport of running. How will T&F and XC ever become more popular if no one (not even the most dedicated fans) is able to watch big IAAF World Championship events on the internet?

I also agree with the above poster that it is unlikely that Universal Sports will webcast this event. But if they do, be aware that Amman is switching to daylight saving time tomorrow and the race start times (for US Eastern Time Zone) are: Jr Women 7:30am Saturday, Jr Men 8:00am, Sr Women 8:40, and Sr Men 9:30.
If anyone becomes aware that these races can be watched on the internet, please post here.

How many athletes do you think will completely miss their race (or atleast their warmup) because of the time change. I hope none of our athletes.
I just see the World XC Championship on the calendar for March. I don't see that it will be broadcast. I also looked on the BBC IPlayer and it does not look like it is being broadcast on the BBC either.
