Just reading the great article about UPortland and I noticed that Kinsella has a very common running flaw that I see in my high school runners (especially girls). At toe off the lower leg rotates so that the foot is at a 45 deg. angle to the direction of force.
Anyone know how to correct this flaw? What muscle imbalances my contribute?
I've got to think this would make a runner far more susceptible to injury, especially in th I.T. band.
I find it remarkable that Kinsella is as good as he is as I've got to think this would reduce running economy.
The picture is locate in this article.
