I wouldn't call them a favorite for this fall.

After last season's 8th place, the rankings will be tough on them.

Until Haile breaks 14, I wouldn't count on him helping you win nationals. I don't know whos back for O next year but didn't they have like 5 guys sub 14 at washington+ rupp+wheating+Centro? Obviously they are all not back but that is a pretty deep talent pool

One flaw with your claim... Colby Lowe was not at the US XC Championships. He stayed in Stillwater, OK with the flu.

As long as he is not providing extras other than the necessities and as long as it has to do with track. I'm sure German and the rest of the guys on the team get a good size food allowance and a decent hotel.

Ummm...isn't Solomon Haile getting just a little too old to be going to college. He needs to act his age and put down the beer bong.

Soloman is not that good. I would not be surprised to see him lose tomorrow. He barely won during possibly the weakest year of FLN ever as a 21 year old. I could be eating my words later this year, but I don\'t see him even making top 7 on O.S.U\'s squad.

Its called visiting an athlete in his home town, nothing new....Smith and company were in washington for USA XC, so clearly they are going to make a house call to their biggest recruit.
