IIRC, a DIII graduate may only compete (as a grad) at the DIII institution from which s/he took the degree.
I could be wrong.
10 full time (12+units) semesters, but you only get 4 seasons of eligibility. So if you red-shirted a year during your 8 semesters you should be golden.

so this is correct:
if I graduate in the fall having used 3 seasons of xc, and 3 of track in 8 semesters of college, I can then go to a d2 school and run 1 season of track and then one of xc while obtaining my masters?
