It's actually fairly late here on the East Coast.
Wow - oh - Wow!!! CU is SO lucky she hasn't gone pro. What a runner! She is so impressive!!! Sally watch out!
It says alot that she congratulates all of the other runners at the end too.
is 8:53 fast? That is not even sub 15 5k? Are women's times that soft?
Very few indoor meets have been contested in Europe, yet. Tirunesh Dibaba's 3k split in the 5k in Boston next week should blow away Barringer's time. Still, awesome time for a US collegian. I have to say her 8:53 surprised me about as much as Fernandez's 3:56.

Since 8:53 is 2:58-/1000, the pace yields a 14:4x 5000. If you mean something else, then use a little more precise language. Besides, what are the collegiate records for 5000 and does one expect a collegiate record in the first race since August? Of course, you probably destroyed your PR in your first race back after 6 months.

This should come as no surprise to anyone! This should have been expected! 8:53 is a good time, but def not some break through for Barringer. Let's not so quickly forget she went 9:22 for the steeple last year and holds the AR. If she's been getting in some good training, i would expect sub 8:50 for her no prob by the time the season is over. After last year, you should expect an 8:45 from her, and def not be surprised with a 8:53.
Jenny looked great!!! C. White from Ark. WTF did she go home over break and lose 20 lbs? Gross!!!
Bro, What part of world leading did you not get.
