Wottle's shape when he won the olympic 800, and Germans shape now.
Who would win in an 800? I think German might take it.

Wottle!
Wottle would kill him in my opinion but I don't know what German's 800 pace is like . Wottle vs German in a 1500 would be close .
I don't think German can run 3:36 with a 53 last 400 (with gas still in the tank). Give him some time. I doubt his speed is near Wottle's. Wottle ran 1:44.3 after heats and semis. German in a 5k over Wottle in a runaway.
Wottle's got a gold. German's got a DNF. You make the call.
Wottle had some pretty good 5000 meter times so I think he'd win anything 5k and down.
Give me an effing break. I know letsrun is full of retards, but come on, people.
Don't know if Andrew Wheating would have a chance against German in the mile but if he was close with 200 meters left, it could be a great race. Don't think it will ever happen but it would be great for the fans.
yeah this question is pretty ridiculous. i never talk trash but that was a dumb question
I posted this message as a joke due to about 14 other German Fernandez threads on the first page.
German Fernandez vs Japanese Bullet Train
German Fernandez vs Sonic the hedgehog
German Fernandez vs the speed of light
come on.... all the nerds get excited on here and start throwing out crazy ass posts.... hillarious. (Don\'t get me wrong I am pretty excited about his 3:56 too)
Wottle. No doubt, Wottle.
Where did Dave Wottle win his Olympic Gold? GERMANY, duh!
Wottle owns the German guy.
End of thread.
I called Dave Wottle and posed this very question after reading the original post. Dave is a pretty introspective guy and I asked him "If you were to pit yourself against German Fernandez, how would you see the result?" He thought for a few moments and said "I think there is no doubt he would win..not by much, but my goodness he seems sharp this early." "Dave" I said, "You ran 1:44, do you really think he would edge you out?" He thought again and replied "Listen Jimbo, you have to understand...I'm 59 years old!" CASE CLOSED!

This threads hilarious. Wheating will crush German outdoors in anything from a mile on down. After that, it's all German.
RIP: D3 All-American Frank Csorba - who ran 13:56 in March - dead
