How Much Would an Indoor Track would cost?

Here\'s an article pertaining to Florida State that just came out this week. We\'re adding an Indoor track facility for 22-25 million dollars, the deciding factor being how much air conditioning that they put in it. This building has a few more things in it such as classrooms and training rooms, so it\'s not a true indicator of what a strictly indoor track would cost.

if you have a building you can build it in it would be a lot less

Here's a tip. You know all those empty former grocery stores you see on your way to work? Lease one of those babies and then all you need is the actual track and runways, etc.

One new Mondo Super X track a few years ago cost 1 million. Not sure about now. Then you need the facility.

I am always amazed that people run indoor track in Florida. I remember going to watch an indoor meet in Gainesville, and it was about 75 and sunny outside.

Thanks guys. I do have the money to build one. I just wanted to know how much they would go for it, I knew they would go for about 1 million. I do a have a perfect facility for it. thanks guys.

I believe the university of Arkansas is going to be selling their indoor track in a couple of years. But who knows with the economy....
