It suddenly occurred to me that I had not heard much about Paul Tergat in racing news. Does anyone know if he has retired? Has he announced he will be running London or Boston or some other major marathon?

He said after NYC that it had remotivated him and he thinks he has a few more races left in him, so I think he will be back for a 2009 marathon.
According to this he is currently injured.
No, He hasn't. Definitely NOT Boston.
I have just finished updating the homepage and was fascinated that Tergat - one of the greatest xc runners in history - returned to action today in the Armed Forces Championships. It looks like he may be considering a return to world xc action.
I think he's probably looking for a change of pace to serve as his fountain of youth.
I'd love to see him run world xc.
