I have struggled with this one for several years and haven't been able to come up with a decent solution. Dare I say that my last resort is letsrun.com. Here we go...
My stomach gets messed up on all of my long runs. We're talking about puking everything up once I hit the 60 minute mark. I have run 7 marathons with the last one being in 2003. That is when the problem surfaced. Here are the specifics:
-I'm 31.
-I wait about 2 hours to run after I eat.
-Most of my long runs are done at a moderate pace. I'm not slamming it, but I'm not jogging either.
-I have tried all sorts of different food options, but haven't come across anything that works.
-Drinking water during the run seems to compound the problem.
If you have any advice, I'd love to hear it. I'm desperate!
