Wariner's got one more year to do it before Bolt chases it. so simple, will Wariner get it before Bolt? or can Merritt capture it?

No. Wariner sucks and he changed coaches.
Wariner will never set the 400m world record...the 800m is another story...
another story as in he'll never run it
Guys, listen up! Once and for all time, Teg does not run the.......and Wariner will not run the.............
MERRIT
Doesn't it go against some physiological truisms to have the same guy have the 100, 200 & 400? I know that Bolt is a phenomenon, but does he really combing the explosiveness, strength and endurance required for all 3? Actually, to be honest, I recently re-watched Johnson's 400 WR and it is amazing the speed he carries in the last 100. He still looks like he's sprinting. I think Bolt very well could concentrate on it and make a WR but he won't be phenomenal in all 3 at the same time, they're different distances.
Wariner is more of an endurance athlete, I see him coming close to the record, but he doesn't have the closing speed, can he change? Possibly.
I think that Wariner has the closing speed he just didn't have it this year.. Coaching change?? Cause I have watched him run since he was in high school and he always had the best closing speed. Go watch his races from the past few years and his last 100m is what sets him apart from everyone else. Maybe Wariner can get his head out of his butt and go back to his old coach that brought him everything in the world.
But I don't think Wariner will set a WR. If he had a good year this year then I would say yes but for him to come back and do it this year would be a long stretch. I don't think that Marrit will do it either. He is good but just caught Jeremy on a down year.
The record is all Bolt's as soon as he steps on the Track. I hope he puts all 3 of the records out of reach simply because it is good for our sport. Because this is a guy that everyone in the world knows about.
Actually Wariner has always had great turn speed. He passes everyone from 2-300 and then maintains in the last hundred. He's so far in front that others can't catch up. He's never been known as a great closer, he maintains in the end. Merritt closes, but usually Wariner has been ahead and Merritt can't catch him.

That's because he is sprinting.
I heard that wariner is moving up to the marathon.

I dunno about that; in a lot of the races I've seen Wariner win he clearly pulls away after the last bend.
no
for you non-believers in bolt, heres some science for ya. if you take the speeds of bolts 100 and 200 WR's, you'll see that the 200 WR is faster than the 100.
This obviously points to the fact the Bolt gets faster, as the distance is longer.
Bolt will easily destroy every track record, as he is already going faster than any other record, and he's only going to get faster(see the first and second paragraph).
The real threat is when bolt breaks the one hour mark in the marathon.
it also helps that bolt takes about 1/3 less the strides than the average sprinter.
you are wrong. michael johnson\'s 200m WR was faster than the 100m WR doubled. It will always be that way. But when you race the 400m, you cannot keep getting faster after 200m. The 400m WR will never be faster than a little over the 200m WR doubled.
wow.....did you just seriously respond to what I said.......epic
Here´s how it is folks, sorry to be blunt:
Doping control (WADA and USADA, and other domestic agencies) basically doubled their budgets as it was an olympic year, and were hounding athletes for their whereabouts, doing surprise tests, and in general making it difficult for athletes to get away with anything. That being said, guys like Wariner and Tyler Christopher, both of whom underperformed last season, weren´t able to get away with doing the crank all year because of it. Furthermore, information was leaked that doping officials were wise to the new version of EPO being widely used that previously had no test.
In summary, Wariner will be able to dope it up once again next season (a bit more anyways) and will therefore be faster. Its very simple.
Is there any way you guys would realize that him changing coaches IS NOT THE REASON for the defeat????Is it possible you can understand the whole process can it be more complex?
