They are interviewing Ray Berry and Pat Summerral about legendary '58 game. Pat getting pretty old and really going to miss him. He teamed up with John Madden (kinda tired of) for so long and has such legendary voice. Really going to miss him when he retires for good, as with NBC guy who I am blanking on currently - so many great announcers - which older guys will you miss when they head into sunset?

I enjoy listening to Johnny Mac and Mary Carillo. Smart, articulate and a plenty of good stories. Besides tennis, I thought Carillo did a nice job at the Olympics.

My favorite announcer was Howard Cosell. Railed against the culture of jock-o-cracy that has developed around sports announcing.
I think Steve Cram did the commentary during the airing of Komen's 3000WR. Its wonderful: "He's got to be running on awfully tired legs..."
