Footlocker; Can anyone win not named Jordan, Kathy, or Ashley?

Ok I will go with Allie McLaughlin. Sveinsson definitely can but she is after all tired from last week, and THE NXN champion. Emily Jones is also very fast, but I will go with McLaughlin to pull the upset. She has run some VERY fast times at altitude in Colorado.

Allie McLaughlin will win if she figures out how to pace. She won't do it by going out with her usual low 5 min first mile though.

There is great presure on the big three to win this race espicially Hassey. Their times this year have been equal too or slower than last year so given that, I expect similar times on Saturday. This race can be won by a dark horse just by hanging around within striking distance. Any of a number of girls that have a good day could win the race by attrition. I'll be watching.

It's possible that a Megan wins, just based on their sheer numbers in the field.

Megan Goethals, the Midwest champ (beat McLaughlin and Sisson). One of the last remaining undefeated runners. She surprised herself by winning FLMW from behind and now has the confidence to run with the best from the start. I think one of the Big 3 will win, but Goethals has a good of a shot as any of the others to win, albeit a very small shot.

Emily Lipari, watch and learn. if she is within 5 seconds with 400 to go, she WILL win

Lipari sucked major donkey d!ck in her regional race. She has about a ZERO percent chance.

Megan Marsico

She fell, idiot.

It is not a matter of WHO will win, but how much Kathy Kroeger will win by. I'm going to say at least 10 seconds. She has really trained smart for this, and will be a two time winner. A very focused and mature runner.

I am picking Brasovan. I saw her in Charlotte the past 2 years and she was taking it easy both times.

She knows that the regional is only a qualifier. Kathy was racing, Ashley was not.

I think the race will come down to Jordan vs. Ashley. Jordan is the wildcard. Last year she ran like an idiot, looks like Sam Chelanga watched her race last year and thought it was a good idea.

Both of the girls are studs and it is anyone's race. I think Ashley will again race smarter and come through at the end. Jordan will run out in front (Maybe not as far as she did last year) and lose it at the end.

Anyway, I am pumped and this should be a great race!!
