Navicular accessory

Hi, my name is brian and i turned 13 not too long ago.

I think i have Navicular accessory because i have this bulge under my ankle. It looks a bit too close to the ankle but i suspect is because i cannot clasp my feet together because my navicular bone keeps blocking me. I want to get this done so i can tryout for cross country because this is the last year before it's varsity and i would like to know the coach well. So i want to get the surgery done. I am also pretty poor but if insurance covers it well i can do this. By the way i am flat feet.

So let me give you details about it. I have had pain for about 1-2 years now. At first it felt crazy pain like it was on fire. So i went to the doc and the doc told me to walk so i do not make it collapse but i doubt he was ever thinking that it was a extra bone. I Started walking like that so the pain subsided and i also did ALL my stretches so i do not risk getting plantars fascittis. By now the pain is very low and i can handle it when im sitting for a bit and rolling on a bottle but when i walk or i run it flares up becomes extremely red and looks bruised. It kills so i can no longer run for more than 20 minutes. 5 years back i was one of the fastest kids, now i have been sitting playing games instead of jumping crazily. So i got bulkier, fatter and much stronger. These are the answers i would like to know about..

1. How to get to the orthepedic person or surgery person.

Like Family Doctor > to another doctor > to orthepedic doctor > surgery

2. What processes do i go through before the non surgical cures.

3. How much does the surgery cost if covered by Edna insurance and / or United health care insurance.

4. How long will i be on crutches

5. What is your experience

6. bone stimulators like putting some metal in there? i would like to stay natural but whatever is for the permanet cure is the better right?

7. chances of the doctors to mess up.

8. Will it come back ever after the surgery?

9. Will this affect my kids in any way (yes im keeping myself health even though im 13 for my future kids)

10. Please read the stuff above or at least skim through it. I am really afraid of any further damage done as i know just enduring the pain is never the best.
