I am masters runner who had quite a bit of speed when younger. I was pretty decent runner but been so long since I have done any track workouts. I do half-mile repeats and minute repeats on trail but never seem to have the flat-out speed when younger, but to be expected. I stayed away from track even when very fit in 30s and have reluctance to go back. I currently do hill workouts once or twice a week, but was hoping to learn what other things I can do to improve my raw speed to make doing my intervals feel easier. Not sure I can handle the Seb Coe workouts...
