Brooks Axiom or Mizuno Elixer

I think Mizuno makes a better shoe. I tried the Axiom 2 and was underwhelmed with the fit and ride.

The Elixir is a little firmer and should ride a little quicker. You will feel the road a little more. The Axiom is still a good shoe but will feel a little thicker underfoot.

The Axiom has less forefoot cushioning than the Mizuno. The Mizuno wave helps with midfoot support, which is lacking in the Brooks.
