She is lucky she is a senior and will not have to contend with the super trio of Kroeger, Hasay, and Brasovan next year. She would finish fourth if she had to go up against these girls next year.

I agree. Will Jordan Hasay become the first freshman to win NCAA? I think..
and rupp was lucky he doesnt have to contend with dunbar!!!!!! whew i bet hes gonna sleep well tonight
I agree with this. Those 3 are going to dominate the NCAA's for the next 4 years. Kroeger seems to have the best future of them all.
Barringer will return next year and own all the frosh....
im going to bite.
There is no way any of those girls would even come close next year to Kipyego if she was competing. Sally has run the fastest 10k in NCAA history, the fastest 5k in NCAA meet history, and the second fastest 1500 in NCAA history.
Someday , maybe. Not even close in the near future will they be near her times.
i agree with "good deals". The trio of frosh are good but so is Babcock and Kipyego beat her soundly. Babcock had beaten Hasay all track season as in 6 months ago.
The people to watch for next year are Schaaf, babcock (frosh this year) and Lisa Koll of Iowa State in her sr. year.
... This is a ridiculous assertion. Take for example Brasovan and compare her to K-Schaaf. Schaaf had a 5000m time a fair bit faster than her last year, and obviously has improved tremendously this cross country season. Maybe Schaaf had a bit of an off race, but she was still soundly whooped by Kipyego.
I think Dave Smith said it best about German competing with Rupp and Chalenga "those guys just have more training and better experience are on that next level"
Sally is a freaking beast and she is the real deal. Hassay and all of the others are going to be amazing freshman next year but they can't run with Sally yet and I doubt in the next 2 years.. Imagine when she isn't in nursing school, getting the right amount of sleep, and only has to run for a job. She is gonna be scary.
Who wants to take a bet she breaks 15 this year? I bet she could of last year at Mt. Sac if the Rabbit didn't SUCK. And I say she runs under 4:25 indoors in the mile this year along with under 8:50 3k..
To say that a couple of 18 year old girls would beat her is just stupid. Sally is 22 and none of them have the training and experience to beat her. Just think about that long and hard and I bet you understand. I would of loved to see Susan come up on her shoulder at the end of that race and Sally blow her out of the water so everyone can see that kick she has... Does nobody remember MT. Sac last year in the 5k where she led the whole thing and then got sucked up with 150m to go then droped everyone like a bad habit in the last 50m
Girls are different from guys, and generally, the younger the better. Sally is good, but these 3 would own her next year. Sally is definitely lucky to have been in college during the last four years, and not the next four years. She would just be an also ran.
Nergle, how can a three time champ be lucky?
I don't even know how to give a troll rating of less than 0/10 but I would if I could. Those three running close to the most decorated woman in NCAA distance running history(before adding the 8th national title today) is a bad joke.
Dumb high school kids need to quit jerking off to "hair jordan" who still looks like she is 10.. There is no way in hell that they could run with Sally..
True girls are faster younger.. ya, the ones that develop with some curves.. Sally is 22 you idiot she is done developing. She has barely begun to tap her ability. Wait and see what she runs this year in track.. And the best way to solve this is find out what those girls run on that course in thos windy cold condtions like Sally did.. I am betting a sub 31 in the 10k this year for Sally..
But don't forget who those girls have next year. JENNY WILL BE BACK, same with Susan, Lisa Koll.. if they can get past those 3 first.
I can't believe that Lets run put this on the front page.. They claim to be such huge Sally fan's and they let some dumb 14 year old kid who probally gets owned by Hassay start a post like this.
Sally will dominate all.. and she has proved the only way to beat her is if she doubles. or if she steps down to a 1500m and still runs a 4:06.. only 2 girls have ever beaten her and I doubt a bunch of 18 year old little girls could do it.. Hell Hassay can't even win 2 foot locker chamipionships. She always trys to run like a badass and then gets sucked up at the end. Only smart race I have ever seen her run is when she set the 1500m record that was 8 seconds slower than Sallys
why do you people keep responding to this?
WOW!! My first post to hit the front page. I feel like a star!!
I still believe I am right - this trio are are going to be legendary some day.

well tirunesh dibaba ran a 14:30 for a track 5k at age 16 and then was the world 5k champ as a 17 year old.
zola budd ran 8:28 for 3k as a junior.
linet masai ran 30:26 for 10k and 4th place at the 2008 olympics.
last year a 17 girl year old ran a 2:22#8 marathon.
and maybe the most impressive girl junior of all ran a 3:51.34 for 1500 as a 17 year old.
and my friend told me when its all said and done jordan hasay will be better than all of them.
the 17 year old girl ran a 2:22.38 marathon last year, sorry for the typo.
I think Sally K. would fake an illness before she would take on those 3 whippersnappers. Sally is indeed very lucky, as the original poster pointed out. Kudos to him/her for being so insightful.
Give me a break she had a short base traning phase this year due to running the olympics trials, and she is balancing nursing school.
Stop jerking off to the high school girls who are faster then you.
