You're welcome.
Hey,
They do not have a ton of support, but they definitely have enough to be effective road racing flats. They're lightweight and they feel great. The upper is soft and light, and the the shoe moves you up on your forefoot without making them uncomfortable to run on for long distances. There isn't a ton of support, but they are similar to other Nike racing flats in that area.
I don't know how they compare to Asics, 'cuz I'm a Nike man, through and through.
I definitely recommend them. The only problem I have with them are the shoelaces because they come all sparkly and girly looking (not necessarily a bad thing, but they don't really get me in the mood to run like an animal).
A great deal, too.
Yea...Eastbay just got these "back in" for whatever reason...the odd part is the box says "Air Streak Spectrum" which is the "flame" model that is out now...though they are about identical in terms of outsole/midsole combo. Good, lightweight shoe...could fit a tad snugger. Most have to cinch the laces all the way to the point that both sides of the upper touch...but if you are efficient, they are good to 26.2, more like a half shoe for others.
Insoles are non removable - glued.
they are the same price (same stock) at Amazon through Champs SPorts and Footlocker. I bought 3 pair but should have bought 1/2 size larger and they no longer havemy size.
These are GREAT flats in my opinion. Ive worn the asics flats and these are just as good. Support and cushioning.
When you say 1/2 size larger are you talking about your normal shoe size?
How do they compare to the old Air Streak Lights and the regular Air Streaks (flourescent green)?
yes,
I wear 11 1/2's and I should have got these in 12's
