2-pack a day,
I appreciate the information as I've wondered about running that race someday myself (not this year though since I'm running Toledo Glass City Marathon on April 25), but I must say that if you mean that most people in the race could get a Level 1 seed based on a sub 19-minute 5K, then you are obviously mistaken. If you think that most people HERE could then I guess that MIGHT be a fair assumption, but I guess you never really know.
What I do know is that...
1) A sub 19-minute 5K is NOT something the masses can do. It's not fast of course, but still, to run sub 19 minutes can't be done by everyone rolling off their couch.
2) People here seem to give no credit to runners who just train and run the best they can if they can't run 28 minutes for a 10,000 or sub 14 for a 5,000.
3) If you are running sub 19 minutes for a 5k and you think you are just in there with MOST runners then you aren't giving yourself enough credit.
Anyway, no slam against you brother - just venting a little.
Peace,
Flagpole Willy
