Virgin most likely. 2nd Torres is not necessary. He's very good but come on ...
Chris Derrick?
First of all, Spivey never even won a CC state title in HS, he lost to Tom Graves.
Also, Ed Torres is very good, but no way in hell should be top 5. Jager and Derrick should belong on that list, with my own opinion being Derrick is the best, with Virgin a close second.
graves, merrick, don't see how one could not have them on a list and jaeger? I mean I knw he ran a pretty quick time senior year but how does he make the list and withrow doesn't? And while ed torres doesnt make my top list he had a better career on the state and certainly the national level than evan did also.
for indiana, rudy chapa.
Kansas = Ryun, no other names need be mentioned.
CA--Fernandez, other pretty obvious one (state record in CC, 16, and 32)
IL--Virgin followed by J. Torres (4x FL is sick) followed by D. Sage then Derrick (only IF he hadnt got mono he would likely be 1)
ut--rohat (more title than puks)
as for nc, ky, and tx I thought the only hs sport was football.
KY - Bobby Curtis?
TN - Bumbalough holds state 3200 and 1600 records.
TX - Manzano...oh oops, high school.
Probably Puskedra for UT, he just broke Rohatinsky's state record, both are doubls state titlists. (Yes that is how you spell title-ist).
Others include Pilkington, and possible Golden Harper, not sure if he won twice, Puskedra has to be a consideration, though.
first of all, NC sucks at football. Second of all, they had the fastest returning 800, 1600, and 3200 meter runners in the nation a couple years ago in sandy roberts, jack bolas, and karjuan williams.
I think the highest finish at footlocker has been 5th or so by a NC athlete (the kid from asheville in 2001? who runs for villanova) aside from matt debole

Derrick didn't get mono during the cross country season so I don't see how this matters. Derrick finished 2nd as well as sage at FLN. Derrick ran better at states. Therefore Derrick should be ahead of sage.
Michigan -
1.Dathan Ritzenhein (2x Foot Locker champ,3rd junior world cross country, as well as many other things, Just look at the top 5 lists in every distance race and you'll find it littered with Dathan and Todd Williams)
2.Todd Williams (2nd at FL? correct me if I'm wrong state titles in the 1600,3200,XC)
3. Ryan Shay (Won every cross country race he competed in, let alone the numerous state championships from 800-3200)
4. Tim Moore, Abdul Alzindani,Brian Grosso (Three way tie because of basically the same credentials, however Tim had the fastest FL championship time, but times don't matter in cross country)
5. Jason Hartman (4th at FL, eventually beaten by Ritz in track)
Honorable mention:
-Landon Peacock (state champion, 5th at footlocker
-Dustin Voss (sub-15 at state championship, but failed to qualify for footlocker)
-Tim Ross(overshadowed by Tim Moore his entire senior year despite qualifying for footlocker )
-Chris Toloff (state champ, beat Tim Moore and was the closest to Dathan their senior year at XC state finals, with a time of 15:09, a very respectable time)
-Maverick Darling(incredible at his state finals, went out in 2:08 for 800 and ran about 14:54)
Ahh, another dumbass who has nothing to contribute so instead refers to false assumptions and ad hominem attacks. Oops, sorry, was that too big of a word for you?
How good were Pat Davey, Mike McGuire, Doug Brown, and Bill Taylor in High School?
Perhaps better in track than Cross?
Aww, great insult little troll alert! Funny thing is I've seen you everywhere making fun of Fernandez while always talking about how amazing Derrick is when we all know that Fernandez has been running better this season. Good one!
