I have never heard of such a thing. I feel that it is a bad idea. I suggest instead, something along these lines: set a treadmill at a constant speed (say 10 miles an hour). Ideally, you would have several treadmills lined up, so that people would go head to head; if this is impossible, do seperate time trials. You must run on the treadmill, consuming one beer per predetermined interval of time (perhaps 2.5 minutes) until you fall off the back. When you fall, the watch is stopped and your time is recorded. Obviously, whoever lasts longest wins. This could be an interesting experiment, and it would be quite entertaining to watch people get drunk and fall off of treadmills.

I heard Rupp runs his beer miles on an antigrav treadmill.
this isn't a troll, serious question. how should a beer mile via a treadmill be done. I do like the advice about drinking/ running until there is just one person left running.
set the pace, runner hops on. when he/she hits the treadmill start the watch and look at what 'distance' he is at. when he hits .25, he gets off and downs a beer. Step back on the treadmill and record what 'distance' he started the next lap. then add .25 on to this and he stops at that number. the runner and control the speed so if he wants to go faster or slower he can. just keep track of the distance covered. might be difficult for a bunch of drunk guys. by the way, i have no idea if this is how to do it, but this is what I would do.
