Alright, here is my compilation of potential at-large points for men's teams prior to regionals. Teams are organized by region. Beneath each team I have listed all scalps that could potentially be worth a point once regionals are run. I have included all longshots (dartmouth, for example) in case they come into play.
Please speak up about any corrections and omissions, but before you do remember these two rules:
1) No race prior to September 26 counts for at-large points
2) Teams must start at least 4 runners from their regional squad for their scalp to count. For example, Oklahoma State did not run 4 varsity guys in the Pre-nats blue race, so defeating them does not count as a scalp. Same for Iona at Paul Short and Michigan at Notre Dame.
Again, this list means nothing until after regionals, but it should be able to settle some disputes and give us an idea of who really needs to finish in the top 2 in regionals, etc. Enjoy.
