New York City Marathon on the Net (3 feeds) AND over the air TV in much of the US

How can we in europe see the event on the net?

Universal sports broadcast the World Half Marathon championship and the Chicago marathon a few weeks ago and it was available in Europe. When it was WCSN I would watch the track meets from Europe, so I'd assume it's available for us. I have plans to watch it there anyway and if it's not available it'll probably be on myp2p.eu illegally.

Is the Universal Sports merely broadcasting the local NBC coverage? Or is it totally different coverage?

Universal owns NBC so they will just broadcast the NBC feed.

what does over the air channel 10.3 mean, I did not know my tv had tenth of a point stations.

Its the over the air digital signal. You'll need a digital antenna and receiver to get it.

Do you know if other markets will be phased into the Universal Market? I will be living in the Denver area soon and would love to see anything on universal sports on my tv rather than the internet. I will have digital cable.

I think you mean digital tuner (you don't need a new fancy antenna...old rabbit ears do the trick!).

Europsrt are showing the whole of the marathon live from 2pm (Irish time).

I'm not sure if it will be the local coverage or not.

Online however there will be 3 feeds, so you can always watch the elite men's race, elite women's or the normal feed. I assume there isn't announcing on the elite feeds.

As for Universal expanding, since NBC is an investor in them, I assume their coverage will expand nationwide at a faster pace.
