Predictions for Kara Goucher?

Remember you heard it here first, "Kara Goucher", will finish in the top 4. If Paula is back to her old self, she is racing against the clock; I can see Kara competing with Jeptoo, Cat and Wami for second place.

Why?

- Kara’s USA Olympic trials Olympic 5k/10k double takes strength.

- Kara has an efficient marathon stride.

- Kara ran an incredible 1:06 half marathon at a time when she was training fo track races.

My prediction is the same as it was in the 5 (or was it 10) other threads on the same subject.

She beats 2:30... maybe 2:28.

I predict that she'll run well and just be cute as a button doing it.

Good post/analysis, but I think Radcliffe is still a wildcard for the marathon distance. She may have a great day, but nobody's seen anything from her this year that would make it a lock. She may run herself into the ground and crumble at mile 18, too.

Due to the fact that she is so strong and able to supposedly maintain 5 20 pace (Alberto says) I think she should be right around 2 24, give or take.
