I know this isnt what you asked but its mainly the time I race.
Get up at 4am. Eat a bagel, banana and pop tart. Drink some coffee and gatorade. 5am start bathroom runs. 6am load up my fanny pack with GU, jelly beans and my camera. Get safety pins attached to my shorts so I can attach more GU. 7am head to the 5k race startline. Put on my headband and ipod and go for a 2 mile warmup. Stretch when finished and start jumping jacks. Do a few pushups and head to the start line. Crowd to the front of the start line and jog in place. Look oblivious as others start to make comments and elbow me.
I'm just below sub-elite status. My 5k pr is 23:56. I've come close to an age group 10th place many times. I hope to qualify for Boston by running St.George.
Wake up, fall out of bed, drag a comb across my head, find my way downstairs and have a cup, look up, notice that I'm late.
