febreze. put them in a bin bought at wal mart or somehwere like that.
start wearng socksand stop stepping in dog sh!t.
We windows where there is a latch on the inside. We tie our shoe laces together and loop them around the latch. Open the window, place shoes outside window, close window, they will stay there until ready. It worked.
Stuff them with newspaper after your run. This absorbs the moisture and sometimes the smell. Otherwise, store them in the locker room?
Wash them!
I dont buy that outdated crap about not being able to machine wash your running shoes.
Remove the insoles and throw them in the wash with shoes, hand wash the laces or push them threw the outside (going in) of the last eyelet and tie them. A delicate bag works for laces too.
Put them on the delicate cycle, if possible, with cold/warm water, throw in a workout towel or something for bulk, detergent and just a touch of bleach. Comes out looking and smelling like new! I throw them in front of a box fan for the night and they are completly dry in the am.
I have gotten plenty of miles out of my shoes after doing this. Actually, i have gotten more cause i can stand putting them on my feet!
You might have to do this every other week. But its the best way i've tried.
