Last week my training week looked like this:
Monday: AM 6miles easy/ PM 10miles easy
Tuesday: AM 6miles/PM 10miles easy
Wednesday: AM 6miles easy/ PM 10miles easy
Thursday: PM 10miles easy
Friday: PM 21.5miles (2mile warmup, 4 x 1mile at 5:07,5:14,5:10,5:09(Rest 2 min),10.5mile distance run 1:13:04, 3 x 1mile 5:19,5:19,5:14 (Rest 2 min) 2mile cooldown)
Saturday: AM 6 miles easy recovery run/ PM 2 miles easy
Sunday: PM 16.5 mile Long Run around the Hill did mile 10 at sub 5:40 pace.
Total : 104miles
This week I'm at this
Monday-AM 6miles easy/PM 5 miles easy (Recovery Day)
Tuesday-PM 10.5mile moderate distance run, 8 x 1k with 90 seconds rest at 3:05.8, 3:04.4, 3:09.1, 3:10.9, 3:09.8, 3:11.9, 3:10.9, 3:11.5, 3mile cooldown in 20:51. (Total:18.25)
Wednesday-AM 6 miles easy/PM 10miles easy (Recovery Day)
Thursday- AM 13 miles easy
Friday- AM 2.5mi warmup(17:45), 4 x 2mi with 3 min rest at 10:28(5:09/5:19),10:30(5:11/5:19),10:37(5:17/5:20),10:29(5:15/5:14), 5 mi Cooldown(34:29) (Total:15.5)
With my plans of going 13 easy tomorrow and a 22 mile long run on sunday, with last 10 miles at progression.
