I have the same type of woman in my workplace and it turns out she and her husband are just swingers who often use their good looks and feigned distaste for each other to draw new lovers. Swear to God, maybe she's a swinger. See if she likes multiple things pointed at her at once.

Don't even pursue this relationship as anything other than an office friendship. If she wants to move on from her husband, let her get a divorce. Then see where you are. You will regret initiating a relationship with her outside of work. What are the scenarios?

1. You date her, she leaves her husband, you get married. A hell of a foundation for a marriage.

2. You date her, she doesn't leave her husband. Eventually you would end things with her. Painful, akward and a waste of everyone's time. It would not end well.

3. She laughs in your face and says she isn't interested in you that way.

I am not even commenting on the morality issues, but if you care about those, it is even easier to decide what to do.

I have a similar situation, I have been running with a girl a couple of times a week and its been great (despite the slow pace). She lives with her boyfriend but rarely talks about him. Yesterday she suggested we go out for a beer after our next run. Am I reading too deep into this one or should I think she is hinting at something?
