When athletes choke at the OLYs then run superb races a week or a few weeks later does that mean PEDs are the explanation?

I think it takes longer than 3 weeks for PEDs to kick in. I might be wrong, but PEDs are more effective over a extended period of time, as their benefits are not really to make you suddenly superman, but to allow you to train at a higher intensity with increased rates of recovery.
But, again, I could be wrong, there could be some instant magic pill PEDs.
... or they could run slowly to avoid testing then blast one at a meet with inferior testing.
Anti-Inflammatory Steroids probably make injuries disappear quickly. Didn't people used to take EPO to counteract altitude sickness relatively quickly or was it always used in conjunction with training as the sedentary used it?
there is this thing called random testing. if you are suspect "they" are likely to go after you one way or another. i doubt running poorly one week or so throws the testers off your trail.
You're thinking like Regina. Someone with that mentality is rare, as placing high and especially medalling at the Olympics is worth a ton.
The Olympics can f*** people up. Look at Gomes. Best long jumper in the world and she fell apart after two fouls. Asafa wilts under heavy pressure. It happens.
Some of you are so cute.
