I was really disappointed by Mr Superfloppy's performances this year. He looked so good in '07, and suddenly, he was flopping like a fish on land, or the winner of a bellyflop contest, or the second word of a popular style of footwear, of which the first word is "flip," and which is also synonymous with a sudden change of one's stated position (usually in a political context); really, very floppy; he flopped big time.

Andrew Carlson.....He is by far the biggest flop this year!

kluft isn't a flop. she is just the biggest moron, shifting from greatness to mediocrity for little apparent reason.

lagat may be the biggest flop--double gold medalist last year to single finalist this year--but he had injury and illness to blame.

no doubt that webb was a big flop.

I'm sorry about all three.

Webb by far.

Even though Gay and Lagat had a very rough Olympics, they performed well at the national championships.

Gay looked great in the 100 at nationals.

Lagat won the 1500 and 5000 at nationals.

Lolo won a national title too.

So the year wasn't a total disaster for them.
