Kindof funny, in NATIVESON's preview of the 800, he wrote Bungei off, saying he would choke!
Glad to see that Bungei finally won the big one.
On a side note, I've never seen so many fat Kenyans in my life as in that vid. Weird.
Iam amazed at how charismatic Wilfred Bungei is.It is sad the world is realising this at the end of his career because the world media would have interviewed him widely and get an insight to what goes on with kenyan athletes and the secret to the greatness of kenya's 800m.Bungei has left the entire public in kenya flabaggasted by his charisma and public performance.
HAHA -- yeah, Native Son's predictions are always fun. He predicts a Bungei "choke" like it's an obvious outcome, and then Bungei leads from gun to tape.
What do you say now, Native Son?
retiring from the National team - the Olympics was his last ever Championships, he says.
Does this mean we'll still see him on the Grand prix circuit? Anyone know?
Quote from Steve Cram which sums up the feeling of all British people:
"Good to see the back of the lucky bugger, I hope he's the first of many Kenyan athletes to disappear from the sport."
uh?? explain more please
what exactly is the insinuation here?
That was for mombasarep and his rather eloquent 'The whole of Britain hates Kenya' thread.

Ha ha!!
I am here!!
..........and to Wilfred Bungai, (Americans say Bang-ei) I AM SORRY!
On the 23rd of August, I did apologise to Wilfred Bungei for calling him that. Here is my apology.
http://www.letsrun.com/forum/flat_read.php?board=1&id=2640924&thread=2640566I had valid reasons to be weary of this guy, sorry, GREAT guy.
I still stand by my words that Daniel Kipchirchir Komen should never wear our uniform. He is the choker.
Bang-ei has redeemed himself in my eyes. Great job and enjoy your retirement dear Wilfred.
I am still sad about Koech and the steeple. THis guy could have taken the gold with Kipruto taking the silver. I had also wished that Mateloong be dropped in place of Koech but he did well to take the Bronze. I do apologise to him too. Whatever happened to Kemboi!
(I didn't know I was being scrutinised. I'll from now on be a bit careful about what I say.) PEACE.
Sincerely,
The Native Son of the Rift Valley Province.

We have tall and short people.
We have very dark skinned as well as light skinned people.
We are no exception.
