Too inferior or too gutless to participate?
Too inferior or too gutless to participate?
Apply next year. They take the top times at the five $1M Golden League meets. The lower meets take the overfill. The SGP at Gateshead will have the 2nd rate runners. That's how the Euro circuit works.
Maybe lacking invites.
You don't just go along and sign your name up.
Yes you do. You apply ahead of time and they take the top times. It's that simple. If you DQ at the start the no appearance money and no hotel bill, that's written in the contract.
So the correct answer appears to be "too inferior."
Thanks.
jah. they're crap. why invite slow runners to a fast field?

This is mostly true expect for the fact that there are acutally 6 GL events.

This is mostly true expect for the fact that Weltklasse Zürich is the 5th meet, meaning that there are only 4 before it.

There were ALL KINDS of Americans competing in Zurich. This is just the jackpot events:
Dix
Crawford
Padgett
Patton
Martin
Mariner
Merritt
Neville
Taylor
Clement
Felix
Williams
Hooker
Richards
Jones
Harper
Howard
NO DISTANCE RUNNERS. With the exception of Lagat, they're simply not good enough.
Lagat isn't even good enough.
Out of all of those you competely missed Wariner....

Could you please shut the f*** up. Lagat has a contract with FastTrack which is why he's at Glasgow, Birmingham, London and Gateshead/Sheffield every year.
