First the fire works then the allegations of the gymnasts ages being faked and now this.
I doubt the Olympics are being held at all.

I assure you that they are. I've seen it on TV, so it must be true.
I thought that those fireworks looked like computer animations but told myself "that's not possible"....silly me. As for the Milli Vanilli little girl singer? Pretty shameful; but I guess in China as well as Hollywood; looks, image and presentation...sell! remember CC Music Factory in the 90s and their hit "everybody jump now" with models fronting the video when it was really a 250 lb Martha Wash (Weathergirls), that was singing lead?
Olympic opening uses girl's voice, not facePublished - Aug 12 2008 02:31PM EDT | AP

BEIJING -- One little girl had the looks. The other had the voice.
So in a last-minute move demanded by one of China's highest officials, the two were put together for the Olympic opening ceremony, with one lip-synching "Ode to the Motherland" over the other's singing.
The real singer, 7-year-old Yang Peiyi, with her chubby face and crooked baby teeth, wasn't good looking enough for the ceremony, its chief music director told state-owned Beijing Radio.
So the pigtailed Lin Miaoke, a veteran of television ads, mouthed the words with a pixie smile for a stadium of 91,000 and a worldwide TV audience. "I felt so beautiful in my red dress," the tiny 9-year-old told the China Daily newspaper.
you mean these DVD's I bought on EBay from China are copies?
Calling Shanya Twains dentist!
People get caught up in all this pageantry! This is why are world is all messed up! Nobody cares that they spent a foolish 100 million dollars to stage the opening ceremonies! What a foolish amount of money to spend! Think about it. Please think about it!
It is ok to be fat as long as you are happy! Yeah right!
