Thank God I have a Slingbox sitting in the Netherlands. I can watch live coverage of the Olympics on about 15 different channels in 5 different languages - of which I only speak 3 but still. Considering that there's constantly 20 events happening at the same time, that's not even enough channels but it beats the hell out of the zero live coverage you get on NBC.
This is one the things that puzzle me most about the US. Why is TV coverage of the Olympics always so atrociously bad? For a country that gets more than its share of the medals, you get so little of what the Olympics are actually about. But a 3-hour baseball game where nothing happens 99.4% of the time - THAT has to be live.
Watching over the Internet is still not the same as on a big TV screen, of course, but this will be the first Olympics since I moved to the US where I won't be in a constant rage over fu\cking NBC!
