Having run against him, I'd have to say Joe Falcon. Very hard to figure out how to beat this guy. You couldn't break him he was so strong and you couldn't out kick him either. Rare combination of speed and strength, at least at the collegiate ranks.

It's Cragg...look at the times and the range. When he was on, he was nearly unbeatable in college.

Seeing him win the 1500, 5000 and 10,000 at SEC's was something to see.

Multiple US champ and record holder, Bronze in the Olympics... Tough to argue with it over time, unless you are limiting it to when they were at Arkansas.

Brian Baker... No doubt about it.

Falcon, hands down. A couple of bad breaks at the Trials, but his range was unreal-a 1:45.2 800m, 3:49 mile, 13:20 5k, NCAA XC champ (almost twice). Not sure Cragg is in the same league.

so many fine runners came out of coach mac's program it makes you stop and appreciate his ability to get so many people to perform well. i would go with falcon. his toughest opponent was most often himself.

So many great ones to choose from and Alistar, Joe, Reuben, Senica, Hood, Bunson, Wilson, Lincoln, Kosgei, Karanu and many others were all great.

But in my personal opinion the best was Godfrey Siamuyse (I'm sure spelled wrong) would be my choice. Only ran there 2 years so may not have as many titles
