I see it all too often. Why, on this message board, do certain people feel the need to put down the boards actual runners by referring to them as "skinny runners" or their "skinny runner ass". It happens when someone talks too "tough" I suppose for the stereotypical runner to back up in real life.
But what's the deal? Are the people that say "He would kick your skinny runner ass" actual body builders or cage fighters, so they have the right to say such things? Doubtful. And if so, why don't you find another message board. Perhaps the Greek Oil Wrestling message board?
And another thing. At least for me, I work hard to maintain my "skinny" runner body. I'd call it more of a lean and toned runner body actually. Point being, it would be pretty easy to let myself go and become a fat ass like most other people, but I work hard to stay smaller than average, so that makes me wimpy and pathetic? It also wouldn't be all that hard to bulk up and get huge, you actually see a lot of runners do it after they stop running. Why? Because it's something they've never experienced, and it's easy compared to the sacrifices needed to be a decent runner.
So when I see "real" tough guys calling actual runners out on their skinny physique, that's a red flag. A red flag that says "I'm worried about my own manhood, so I'll let everyone know that I'm huge and tough." I don't know, just a thought. It just happens a lot on here, a runner's board.
