is probably not enough to beat KB or BL if it is slow race.
His fine win at Stockholm over Songok was convincing, but
many runners can close faster than his 54.6.

true dat
I only race men on the day.
define "many"
He's closed faster in a truly slow race, see the 2005 WC's. The OG Final should be faster, maybe 13:00-13:10. Doubt he can close with Bekele, Kipchoge, and Lagat. Otherwise, I can't think of other guys, let alone "many" that would blow him away, and he has as good as shot as the rest I'd think.
Shihine Closed in 53.8 over 5000m recently (Paris?)
Yeah, but he's not doubling in Beijing.

The last OG final was rediculously slow. I think the first quarter was around 75, and the race fell into the lap of El G. Perhaps this time it will be faster, but maybe not.

was that the one time he beat Bekele? If i remember Mottram was in close to best form and Bekele was way out of it. Does anyone remember the details?
