I root for Symmonds but KD will probably get him.

KD is getting old, Symmonds was the one who made the final this year at World Indoors and I think he will pull a race out like he did at Pre in 2007 to win the trials. Both guys are great racers, they will both represent us well in the Olympics.

Lets see if we can have a battle like us indoors!

Dumb question. Making the Olympic team is the prize, which the top three runners win. Both of them will win.

KD ran 144 this year already. Almost won Pre. Hes not that old yet.

So many people think they're going to be the best runners in the world cause they were straight PWN'ing n00bs during the NCAA season.

Time for the old vets to come out and roast some young pups. These races were over a long time ago. It's fun to pretend though. Some of these guys are professional athletes and they're being treated like 2nd rate citizens. KD will win, Webb will win, Lagat will win, Gay will win.

I know it's so fun to try to look unique by going against conventional wisdom, but you guys look like fools.

He was just answering the questions. He didn't come off as cocky to me. He even admitted that K.D. was better than him.

Why? Because Symmonds is confident and wants to win? Nothing about that article came off as arrogant to me. He stated the obvious. He IS the hometown favorite and he CAN use that to his advantage. He acknowledged that KD has a faster PR and has beaten him twice this year. But Symmonds still believes he can win the Trials and make the final in Bejing. What is so hard to believe about that? And why is that barf-inducing?

KD should be the favorite in this race. He's beaten Symmonds twice this year, has a faster PR, and is more experienced. But Symmonds is young and we haven't the best out of him yet. He said his training is going great and he believes he can win. So I could certainly see NS winning this race.

He did not almost win pre. Although he did beat Symmonds by almost half a second.
