It takes 15:29.99 or faster to run sub-15:30
Uh, run more miles.
Are you doubling most every day?
No? Why not?
Double 5-6 times a week.
You'll be tired for awhile, but keep going.
Run the "to the barn" (malmo, 1970-2008) runs several times a week.
You'll get there.
Your time frame is too ambitious.

8 months? easily enough time. I was running 40-50 miles a week and running about what you were running. Then I bumped my mileage up to 55-65, and within 9 months, I was running 15:17. You can do it.
You should have no problem doing it. As long as you really want to do it, your determination will get you there with hard work.
