I'm a race announcer for a road race and I'm looking for some fresh ideas for a song to use at the start. Nothing cliche like "Eye of the Tiger", "Chariots of Fire" or the theme from "Rocky". Something that pumps people
I want something that is recognizable that a lot of people can identify, but not overdone or cliche.
Thoughts and suggestions?
Something by Pink Floyd would probably be appropriate.
MONEY might be a good choice. Or possibly the intro to DSTM, with "BREATHE" being featured.
LEARNING TO FLY is pretty good as well.
Oh, well, and I forgot RUN LIKE HELL.
Play COMFORTABLY NUMB at the end of the race.
Our team loves to play "The Final Countdown" from Europe. Its better then the national anthom.

I like Final Countdown and Time for Me to Fly and alread had those under consideration.

Did you hear these two songs on Art Bell's bumper music for Coast to Coast A.M.?
That's the only place I can recall hearing Ride My See-Saw in over a decade. And Art's fond of Cusco as well (especially Inca Dance).
