I have to do a Stats project using regression to determine how one variable affects another, so I thought it would be a lot more interesting to involve running somehow, in this case 1500 PR's effect on 5kPR's. Obviously there is a benefit to having speed which is what a good 1500 time would imply, but the question I am asking is to what extent does it help? If anyone who has seriously run both a 1500 and 5k could post both their PR's that would be great. Conversions from 1600 or full mile are fine. This will really help me out a lot, Thanks!
