Maybe Lananna? He's been doing a pretty good job at Oregon.
Oh--wait...
Schummacher's also gone; off to coach for Nike.
Louie Q to Stanford U.
I, too, have heard that it's done...California boy Quintana to Stanford.
I've heard Greg Roy's, from Connecticut, name thrown around too.
Craig Lake.
I really dont see Coach Roy leaving CT, but stranger things have happened.
Interesting developments at Stanford. Teagen retiring, job posted today for throws coach and Floreal rumored to be in the mix for the Arkansas job.
I don't think they will do anything with the distance position until Floreal's future is certain.
It is Craig Lake. The above poster has it right.
Oh and there is a good chance she will succeed in getting Claire Durkin to rethink the not running thing.
Think young big ten coach whom used to be a great steeplechaser and cross country guy. Doesn't want to be head coach because he doesn't want to have to do all the bs that head coaches do!
Harter's name is bantied about for the Stanford job. Harter wants to come back to California. Smart guy, he can double dip and get two retirement pensions.
Schumacher would have to be paid double what he is making at Wisconsin to be able to live anything close to what he does in Madison, plus assistance on housing. He is not going to want to commute and he has been pretty happy in Madison, his whole family has. Not saying it would not happen, but I think it is a bit of a long shot.
Robert Chapman has already been offered the Stanford job once in his career, so now that he isnt coaching collegiatly he might just take it.
Schumacher is moving to Portland along with all of his post collegiate athletes. It is a done deal. Nike will be funding.

NO FREAKIN WAY.
Yep.
Chapman wants to see his son grow up...he only goes to a few meets a year and doesn\'t have to recruit...pretty good gig.
