I have to asusme that Goucher is NOT going to do both this meet and the Border Duel in Salem, Oregon.
where's sihine? Wasn't this supposed to be the selection race for the Eth 10k? (I assume Bekele gets an auto entry)
Jimmy C;
man you are crazy to suggest that Chebii will come second.Which world have you been living in ?True Bekele will win ,most likely Soi will be second(based on his performance in 3000M in DOHA grandprix).Chebii has been racing for a very long time and is way into his 'burn out phase'.
Not necessarily: Chebii had a decent indoor season this winter and who knows what he would have run at Doha if he wasn't spiked in the head at the start. More telling, out of that field, the only person besides Bekele who broke 13:00 last year was....Chebii. Personally, the injury that Chebii sustained may keep him out of second, but saying it's crazy that he can't come in second, is a bit of a stretch - given the past year's stats.
Teg breaks 13:15, or my name isn't Hassan Aqbar!
Whoops, Longosiwa also broke 13 last year with a 12:51, he would be a strong candidate for second as well.
nice to see that, now let's all hope that they aren't eaten alive.
ruppy could pr in the first 5k and still not be with the lead pack.
whats the date of this meet?

In other words... in a few days time.
Then apparently the Gouchers are going to returning to the US for this one on the 31st May.

The 5k will be won in sub 12.50.
Teg is goin 1305 at least. The man is ready to break out a fast one. If the pace is hot, hes goin near the AR.
You don't think Rupp or Rohat will beat Quigley's 10k time in a much better race? Teg 13:25?
For the last time, Rupp and Goucher are NOT running in this meet.
Why isn't Teg running the 10k? He has a real chance in this event given his speed over 1500m and superior endurance.

Dream on...
it would be more like a nightmare. Better drugs than ever!
He is in 3.38-3.40 shape now. The africans are way better right now. He will need a few races to get in shape. I root for him and think he will run sub 13.00 soon
