Someone give me a plan to train for a 5k and 100m at the same time. I'm a masters weekend hack training for some local stuff.
You don't have to give me mileage. Just something like:
Monday: easy run and short sprints
Tuesday: Speedwork and polymetrics.
You get the idea.

Train for the 5K. The 100 meters is mostly genetic anyway. Run 30-45 minutes a day, and do some (4 to 6) 100 meter runs, hitting top speed in the middle, after most of your runs.

That sounds very reasonable. It's not like I'm training for the Olympics. I may get a little faster with more sprint specific training, but probably not by much. And, not enough to justify sacrificing some 5k training.
