Sorry
Spring 24:50...looked great
Kiplagat looked smooth for first time at VCP
Too and Spring ran 4:38 1st mile.
where can full results be found?
columbia men looked solid. they have good depth. i was told by a friend who runs there that they held out their top six. they still put two guys under 25:40
Did Iona run there "A" team?
Tim
No, if you compare results from last week to this week they held out there top 6 runners from last week. Laboy who got 9th overall this week, was there 7th man last week.
iona ran what is closer than a real team than did columbia.
Iona kept out their top 5 or 6, except for Kiplagat. I think the coach was just giving him a race at VCP to see what he could do. Columbia also kept out its top 5 or 6. You can't really use Mets as a judge of where either team is, because of those reasons.
If you look on another thread on letsrun, some other guy thinks Iona is going to run away with Regionals, because they have 4 guys who have run 25:00 or under at VCP. I think we'll get a better sense at Pre-Nats, where (I think), all of the top NE region teams will be pretty much stacked.

By the way... who's your friend?
By the way, how bad is Rutgers? They ran a full team too and couldn't finish better than 7th? Who's their coach and why is he their coach?
Rutgers is pretty bad on the mens side, but Julie Culley ran like a bad ass. She will be an All-American from Rutgers
How did Rey Ordonez do? I heard he said this is his last race at VCP - it's too hard on his legs, he's not a machine. Word is it's Franklin Park next time.

Their Coach is Mike Mulqueen and this is why he is their coach:
http://www.scarletknights.com/track-men/XC might be hurting, but he is also the head track coach and Rutgers seem to fair pretty well in the Track arena.
