check out the Phil Collins Retires thread. His former agent
posts there.
I like your guitar playing but can't stand the singing
Marty Liquori, Tim McLoone, and the late Bill Sieban all runners and musicians from New Jersey circa 1970's

I play keyboards and guitar and sing a little.
Here are some demos of me playing keyboards in my band -
http://www.putfile.com/flagpolewilly/media
Demo 1 - White Room - live
Demo 2 - Riders On The Storm - live
Demo 3 - Cold Shot - live
Demo 4 - Lonely At The Bottom - live
Demo 5 - Willie The Wimp - live
Demo 6 - Crossroads - studio version
Demo 7 - Key To The Highway - live
Demo 8 - Easy (just me on piano and singing) - live
Demo Confidence - Confidence Man - live
Our guitar player is amazing, so take a listen to White Room and Crossroads and just about every song but Easy and Riders On The Storm for some really really good guitar.
I've played a lot of instruments at various times, but right now I'm really stoked on the piano. I can sing a little, but I'd like to be much better.

Like the jangly guitar. Didn't like the singing on the first song "Summer Shoes", but the singing was better in the other songs. Keep on enjoying that music brother!
I used to play saxaphone and bass. Dont really do much playing anymore. I manage a band and do some promotion work with bands around Richmond VA.
i play a pretty good classical guitar... i'm not so good with the pick for some reason
I play a little guitar for fun.

I play the koto professionally (2m long Japanese stringed instrument) and until recently was the DJ and producer for a Japanese girl band.
I'm a hack trombone player in a few full bands , but I have a lot of fun with it. Played all through high school, then after a 45 year break, took it back up again 2 years ago. I have now returned to my prior level of mediocrity !
I go to school for music, but I have nothing worth sharing. Most of the stuff I've written and recorded is really old and for lack of a better word: blows.
I haven't written a new song in like 2 years, now that I think about it. Which is a shame. I've started a whole bunch.
I mean I have to write tons of stuff for school, but I haven't written anything for me.
I play a little guitar and have done a show or two, but I'm really posting here to shamelessly push my brothers band 'Do it to Julia'. They're the talk of Zap Fitness and boone, NC right now. Not that there's much to talk about up here, but seriously they're pretty great. They have a talented violinist in the band, their lead guitarist is incredible and both my brother (vocals, guitar) and the drummer are college runners. They just signed a pretty solid record contract & their album's due out in august. You can check them out on myspace.
If you like these you'll love their album. these are pretty early demo's and they've upped the anti in the last year.
I'm slowly infiltrating the elite running comunity with their music, so why not letsrun.
I've been playing guitar for close to 15 years. Did quite a few shows when I was younger, but haven't performed much recently. I also pick up some cash on the side doing custom mods on effects pedals. Flagpole - you guys should chip in and spring for a better wah for your guitarist. Also, loved your version of "Easy" - it sounded just the way I imagined it would! Very nice.
Oh yes I certainly do love music. It is my passion and I breathe it with every breath in the world. Can anything touch you like music? I really don't think so. It would be a shame to have no music.
It's a random ability but I have a really good voice somewhere in the middle of the modal register and with moderate range. Rare is the occasion when I can work up the nerve to sing to people. I'm fine speaking to groups, however singing brings on stage fright. Takes a lot of work to get me to sing.
