The end of my track season is coming up and it finishes up with a dual meet on a Wed with my conference championships on a Fri. I'm pretty slow, so I won't be going beyond these meets. I've already PRed in all 3 events that I run (800, 1600, 3200). I don't really care about the 800 that much so I'll just let the PR I have stand. Forgot to mention that I'm also a senior so no more HS running after this (plan to run for my college, most likely a small D3 school). I'm thinking that I do a 1600 at the dual meet and then do a really short recovery run (20-30 mins at most) and do the 3200 at the conference meet. Would this be a good idea or is there a better way to organize my races? I will be going all-out in both races as my 3200 PR is still pretty slow and I feel I can drop atleast 15-20 seconds off of it and hopefully 10ish off my 1600.
