This is going to be a great race. a D1 champ vs. a D2 champ. McDougal coming off a 3:45 1500, Bauhs coming off a 3:59 mile. If anyone is there can you please give mile splits and race action?

I just got a bad feeling that McDougal will only do the 10k.

Flotrack will be there with LIVE broadcast so just login or whatever and you can watch the whole thing live. Your welcome!!
I don't know which McDougal will be running (Liberty's conference meet started today, but it looks as if he's not running in it), and Bauhs is a nice runner, but these two guys are in completely different leagues. At 5,000, McDougal will be at least fifteen seconds better.
Oops--I now notice McDougal is entered in the 1,500, which is run on Saturday!

Completely different leagues??? You've got to be kidding me! If both ran it would be very close. I'd take Bauhs.
13:20 pr and Bauhs PR is in the 13:40s
Bauhs is a great runner, McDougal is getting close to world class.
You don't know running if you would take Bauhs. McDougal is WAY better, you must be a D2 person or something because that is the only reason anyone would have for thinking he could stick with McDougal.
It was only a matter of time before some piece of crap runner who happens to run for a lame ass d1 school got on here and started dissing scotty bc he is d2, YOU my friend must not know much if you think it matters what division scotty runs in, i bet Mcdougal would tell you your as asswipe for saying something like that
how many times has mcdougal got his ass handled to him in a slower race? baugs outkicked nicodemus
Dude, I'm not dissing Scotty B. He's a badass runner. He can't compare to McDougal though. If he proves me wrong this weekend, so be it. 13:20, D1 XC champ. How can you argue with that?

You f***ing idiot, this is Mt. SAC, it isn't going to be a slow f***ing race.
I really think it is hard to say. I think Bauhs has improved A LOT since that 13:40 5k an entire year ago. I think he is currently capable of running quicker than that and he has a lot of fight in him.
....Bauhs will be 13:24-13:26. Then 27:50's for Stanford 10k in a couple weeks.

What he was saying was that McDougal is faster than Bauhs and if you think otherwise then you must have a strong bias toward Bauhs to cloud your judgement so much.
But I don't think McDougal is that much better than Bauhs anymore
Well Bauhs did beat McDougal at 5k in Washington last year, so we'll see. I'll definitely be tuning in to that live broadcast.
Bauhs is a D2 5k champ?
News to me.
Link pls.
He is a 10k champ. Runner Up in the 5k to his teammate Serrano.

..whom bauhs let win. In the video, when bauhs lets up with 120m to go and fades out into lane 4, it becomes aparrent that he was there to support his teammate (a senior very much deserving of a title after years worth of hard word and all americans). Bauhs can do more amazing things than he already has if he has the competition to do so.
Come on, did anyone see the world xc results?
yeah, McDougall is really good but Bauhs is getting to be world class too, like this guy said - check out world XC results - bauhs represented pretty well and i think could have a better post-collegiate career - who knows though, maybe we will see them in the 10k final at the trials this summer
