Outstanding!
Thanks for results. -
indoor on a flat 200m track full 2 mile.....damn. we might see a few guys go under 845 outdoors.
-
no theyre in such good shape now their season will be as slow as mollasses, plus none of 'em know how to peak.
-
US#5 all time for Luke, does anyone know what Lowe's 8:50 is ranked?
It was a great race. Talk about two totally different body types...

i doubt they will do anything great this year. alan webb ran that meet as a high schooler and he ran an 8:45. he didn't break the 2 mile record, so what makes you think these runners will?

are you kidding/trolling? i can't tell -
just to be an ass for no apparent reason...
Wes Rickman 4th place is from Colorado.
Colorado had 4 footlocker fimalists, and he was not among them, he was actually our 6th or 7th ( I think 7th) guy in at footlocker MW,
Colorado disance baby -
not # 5...lindgren 8;40; nelson 8;42; merrick 8;43; virgin & webb 8;45...perhaps others
-
Don Sage 8:42, Craig Virgin 8:36
-
Pretty sure he means U.S. #5 all-time indoors. I think the announcer at the meet said Lowe's time was U.S. #8 all-time indoors.
-
First of all, of course Webb ran it as a highschooler because it's a high school race.
Second, Alan Webb would have ran under 8:35 in the two mile if he had raced it in the outdoor season. I sure hope these kids can drop 5 seconds on their time when they move onto an outdoor track. -
fernandez runs 8:53 on an outdoor track and everyone jumps on the band wagon.
puskedra runs 8:49 indoors and everyone poo poos it. He'll peak fine and turn some heads this fall. -
But didn't Fernandez run the 8:53 completely alone and after racing a 800m and 1600m that day?
-
too bad the best 1 and 2 milers from Colorado didn't get a chance to race indoors this year

email me- maybe I can get some advice on how to peak my kids. You're a genius- probably such a genius you have to stay anonymous on the boards and talk poop on high school kids- typical lets runner. I honestly don’t know how some of you a-holes live with yourselves.
Kurt
ps Molasses has one 'l' dumb ass.
pss you blow -

Any objective observer would rank Rickman and White as among the best 1 and 2 milers from Colorado. Nevertheless, I'm not sure why you say it's "too bad" the rest didn't run indoors. And, by the way, they certainly had the chance to do so. They simply chose not to. The month of May will tell the story, but how many high-end races do you think a miler or two miler has over a four or five month span? Rickman and White have both spent at least a couple of theirs. I'm guessing the others have more left at this point.
Not saying it can't be done, but I'm thinking Rickman and White won't win state titles this year in their specialty races (although probably only Kevin Williams can beat Rickman in 4A even if Rickman gains nothing from this point forward). -

For a kid the huge to run 8:49 on a flat 200m track is extremely impressive. Put him against German outdoors and something big isgoing to come of it.
