My parents want to come down and visit me. I don't want them to. How do I tell them I don't want them to visit? Right now my plan is to just tell them I don't know when a good time would be each time they ask. It's been working so far, but they are getting more determined. help

is it a one day trip? if so it's not that bad since it's now later in the semester, then just go home during break. If they come down once it alright, just maintain that your busy. "I'm sorry I can't see you guys more often, I just have a lot of work, it's really starting to pick up now."

You need to provide more info here. WHY don't you want them to visit? Are you a college student? If so, do they pay your tuition? Are they abusive in some way? If they are not abusive, then there's really no reason to not have them visit you. I don't get it.

Well, that would be a failing on his part (not his father's part). You can still respect a person who is not a real man, especially if he's your father. You can also disrespect your father if his actions lead to that (abuse, not being there, etc.).
